2019 Bee School Starts This Saturday, January 12

This is a Basic Beekeeping Class open to anyone wanting to become a certified NC Beekeeper, or anyone wanting to learn about beekeeping, or individuals wanting to refresh their knowledge & skills. Students are not required to raise bees during or after this course. Those desiring to become a certified beekeeper by the NC State Beekeepers Association will have the option to test upon conclusion of the class. At each class we provide class review, allow time for Q’s & A’s, and have refreshments available. You’ll meet experienced beekeepers who share their knowledge and provide hands-on training in the bee yard.

Bee Schools will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Wayne County Center at The Maxwell Center at 3114B Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.

Cost is $60 per person or $85 per family. This includes one textbook per person or family, an information notebook and class handouts.

Register on first day of bee school from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Cash and credit card will be accepted on registration day.
