Better Food Better Health program employs a family-based curriculum to provide nutrition education to Latino families. The program encourages adults and children to make healthy food choices, stretch their food dollar and have active lifestyles for better health outcomes. Each session last approximately 2 hours and are delivered in Spanish for a total of 5 weeks. The adults and older children are taught in one group, while the younger children are in a separate group with their own teacher and age-appropriate educational games and materials.
