Goldsboro's New Holiday Tradition: Christmas at the Farm

Goldsboro, NC – A new local tradition is arriving! The Farm Credit Farmers Market is excited to present “Christmas at the Farm,” running from November 8 to December 13.


This celebration is packed with free holiday fun and a focus on local agriculture.
Presented by Wayne County Cooperative Extension and sponsored by the Wayne County Extension and Community Association.

Event Overview


The self-guided tour begins upon entering from Wayne Memorial Drive next to Wayne Community College and concludes with an exit onto New Hope Road.

Main Festivities


  • Saturday Story Time: Bring the kids for festive Story Time every Saturday at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM (except Saturday, November 29).

  • Free Treats: Enjoy complimentary cookies and cocoa during your visit.

  • Santa’s Mailbox: Kids can write and send Letters to Santa at our special station.

  • Local Shopping: Browse local vendors for perfect gifts — from farm-fresh foods to handmade artisan crafts.


An Innovative Light Display


A major highlight of the event is the interactive Christmas light display — an educational experience where lights are linked to QR codes.
Scan each code to watch short videos about agriculture and Christmas traditions.


While the vendor market and scheduled events end on December 13, the Christmas light display will remain open every evening through December 29, from sundown to 11:00 PM.
