Extension Master Food Volunteer Program
The Extension Master Food Volunteer (EMFV) program is designed to engage community members in food and nutrition programming in Wayne County so that trained volunteers further expand the reach of N.C. Cooperative Extension. The EMFV program creates opportunities for Family and Consumer Science agents to train volunteers to support food and nutrition programming and promote local food initiatives, thereby increasing capacity to deliver high quality, evidence-based interventions at the local level.
