Have a young entrepreneur ready to turn their ideas into real-world experience? 4-H Market Makers allows youth to learn, create, and grow their business skills at the Farm Credit Farmers Market.
Great news! Due to continued interest, the 4-H Market Makers program has been extended for the remainder of the farmers market season. Applications are now being accepted through December 9, and both new and returning Market Makers are encouraged to apply.
Participants join us every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., where they can showcase and sell agricultural products, baked goods and treats, plants and flowers, handmade goods, and more while gaining valuable experience in customer service, marketing, money management, and entrepreneurship.
There is no cost to apply, and booth space is just $1 per market day, making it an affordable way for youth to build confidence, develop workplace skills, and connect with the local community.
