Show off your holiday baking skills at the Farm Credit Farmers Market’s Holiday Treat Contest! Home bakers are invited to enter their favorite festive, homemade treats for a chance to be named our contest winner.
Entries must be handheld treats that can be enjoyed without utensils. Eligible entries include cookies, bars and blondies, and candies and confections. All entries must be made from scratch, prepared within 24 hours of drop-off, and submitted with a recipe listing all ingredients. Professional pastry chefs are not eligible to compete.
Each baker must submit two dozen (24) pieces on a plain, disposable plate or platter. Treats will be judged on taste and flavor, texture and doneness, holiday appearance, and portability and neatness. Entries will be anonymously numbered at check-in to ensure fair judging.
Contest Schedule
- Registration and Check-In: 9:00–11:00 AM
- Live Judging Begins: 11:15 AM
- Winner Announced: 12:15 PM
- Community Treat Social: 12:30 PM
Only one winner will be selected. Following the contest, join us for the Community Treat Social and enjoy a festive celebration of homemade holiday treats!
