  • Fire trucks and Sheriff office cars
  • McGrady Grill & Pinky Food Trucks on site during lunch
  • Mickey’s Pastry Shop on site with baked goods

Kids Pumpkin Decorating Contest Rules

  1. Contest is open to children ages 5 to 12. One entry per child.
  2. Entries will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. at large tent in parking lot near market.
  3. General public will vote for their favorite pumpkin from 10 a.m. to noon.
  4. Winners will be announced at 12:30 p.m.
  5. Winner prizes will be fair tickets for the Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair: 1st – 3 tickets; 2nd-2 tickets; 3rd-1 ticket.
  6. Children provide their own pumpkin and decorations.
  7. No carved pumpkins! Pumpkins may be painted, dressed, accessorized, etc.
  8. Pumpkins should be decorated prior to entering the contest. Pumpkins should be decorated by children, but parents/caregivers may assist.
  9. Child’s name should not be visible on the pumpkin.
  10. The winner’s names and pictures will be published in local media outlets.
  11. Participants must be present to win and to take back entries after winners are announced.
